Howdys the name is Marcy, owner and founder of The Californian Llama.

The Californian Llama was founded in 2016, started selling in 2017 as the tiniest business you’ve ever seen. Also with a different name: Marcy Art’s. 

 

It all started with me being interested in doing more with my art hobby. Street fairs, festivals and conventions were something that grabbed me, and there I felt that I wanted to be part of the vendor scene. Then I took action to get started right away. You can say I was very inspired and determined. 

 

From the beginning of making my tiny business I made simple paintings and handmade items. After selling for some time, I wasn’t feeling it. As I wanted to do something better than what I was doing. Then in 2018 - 2020 That's where I managed to gain better knowledge of the route that I wanted to take, heading to become a vendor in Artist Alleys / Conventions. 

 

In 2020 that was where I launched or rebranded myself as The Californian Llama introducing what new products I'll be making and opening an Etsy Shop. 

 

Currently making more items by hand, making Buttons / pins, stickers and homemade Art prints, will soon expand my options to have keychains / Charms and top quality art prints. Extending it to a variety of products and topics. 

 

I will always try to stick to making most of my items handmade, to show those who want to follow me that it can be achieved.

 

I have great friends which I noticed that want to also start a small / tiny business, mainly because I was their inspiration. You’re welcome ya’ll. But do remember if you want to be standing where I am, it takes; Creativity, Inspiration, determination and responsibility.
